Nurse Educator RN

Nurse Educator RN Schervier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Riverdale, Bronx, NY Schervier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Educator RN to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering educational programs to ensure clinical excellence, infection control compliance, and adherence to all regulatory standards across the facility. Salary $105,000 – $115,000 annually Benefits PTO, Sick Time, Health Insurance, 401(k) Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement staff education and training programs Coordinate orientation for new nursing staff Ensure ongoing competency and compliance with state and federal regulations Lead infection control education, including prevention, surveillance, and outbreak response Conduct infection control audits and reinforce proper protocols (hand hygiene, PPE, isolation procedures) Provide in-service training and continuing education for clinical staff Monitor and evaluate staff performance and educational needs Collaborate with nursing leadership and infection prevention team to improve quality of care Maintain accurate training records and documentation Stay current with regulatory requirements and best practices in long-term care and infection prevention Requirements Current NYS RN license in good standing Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility Experience with infection control practices and regulations required Prior experience in staff education or training preferred Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to lead, mentor, and support clinical staff Schervier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing high-quality care and a supportive work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Schervier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center
