Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department/Critical CareFSN is looking for a qualified Registered Nurse – Emergency Department/Critical Care for both night and day shifts!Key Responsibilities:Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a Level 1 or 2 trauma and acute care environment.Perform thorough patient assessments with minimal supervision, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice.Effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records, preferably EPIC, to document patient care.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless continuity of care.Adhere to schedule requirements including working every other weekend and some holidays; flexible scheduling for extended time off is limited.Required Skills:Current New York State RN license.BLS certification, with ability and willingness to recertify.Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care hospital setting of similar size and complexity.Previous EPIC EMR experience preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.Ability to perform a broad range of nursing assessments and skills in a high-pressure environment.Clear professional record, with no license suspensions, investigations, or professional liability claims.Legal right to work in the U.S.Successful completion of pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and criminal background checkPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred.Over 1.5 years recent critical care or emergency nursing experience.Trauma level 1 or 2 experience.Prior travel nurse experience in hospitals of similar or greater size and trauma centers.Experience working in trauma centers or larger hospital facilities.Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).Other Requirements:Both day and night shift available, both are 12-hour night shifts, scheduled every other weekend and some holidays.Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.Willingness to work in a high-stakes, fast-paced ICU environment with weekend and holiday shifts.Compensation & Benefits:Weekly Pay Rate: $2,800.00Competitive pay packages with weekly direct deposit.Comprehensive medical benefits available through W-2 employment.Robust referral bonus program.Paid sick time in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other related expenses.
