General Supply Specialist

Job Title
Job duties include:
- Reconciling hand receipt holder account findings with the property record.
- Preparing and reviewing requests, turn-ins, and transfers of expendable items.
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and regulations for supply documentation.
- Resolving discrepancies between recorded and actual on-hand inventories.
- Utilizing the USACE Automated Personal Property Management System (APPMS) to account for and manage personal property assets.
- Utilizing desktop computers and a variety of software packages to implement and document actions related to supply and logistics.
- Operating a motor vehicle to pick up and deliver supplies and equipment.
- Evaluating local procurements and supply policies and procedures to determine soundness with operational requirements.
- Utilizing the Logistics Information Warehouse to assist in managing the supply program.
- Identifying and reporting equipment that is excess, obsolete, or no longer meets mission requirements.
- Analyzing statistics and determining trends in performed operations to recommend appropriate corrective action.
- Maintaining accountability of property books for government and vendor-owned equipment.
