Direct Care Worker- Caregiver

Responsibilities: Provide hands-on personal care and daily living assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional monitoring Implement individualized care plans and document client progress accurately Administer or assist with medication management per care plan guidelines Foster a safe, supportive, and dignified environment for all clients Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare team members Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Prior experience in direct care, personal care, or a related healthcare setting is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Must pass background check and any required health screenings About Us: DISCOVER OUR WORLD OF HEALTHCARE is a trusted healthcare services provider serving the Philadelphia, PA community with a commitment to quality, compassionate care.
