Position Details

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• One Friday per month: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and equipment are properly sterilized
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
• Educate patients on treatment recommendations and oral health practices
• Support efficient patient flow and daily office operations
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to create outstanding patient experiences
• Contribute to a positive, solution-focused office culture

Requirements

• Dental assisting experience
• Current radiology certification as required by state regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
• Dependable, professional, and hardworking
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care and service

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Preferred Experience

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental assisting school certification
