Job Description
General Purpose: The primary purpose of pupil health services is to help pupils develop attitudes and follow practices which will help them to live healthful and happy lives, to assume responsibility for their own health, and to assist in determining when health problems significantly affect the children in the classroom. Specific health services are provided in areas which directly affect pupils' ability to learn. Under the leadership and direction of the Director, Student Services and immediately responsible to the Director, Student Services and to Principals of the schools assigned, the school nurse assumes the following:

Requirements / Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish) desirable B.S. Degree - Nursing Valid California Registered Nurse License Valid California School Nurse Services Credential

• Copy of Transcript (B.S. Degree required)
• Credential Copy
• Health (Copy of California R.N. License)
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (three minimum within past 12 months - one from a direct supervisor)
• Resume
