Summary Health Services Coordinator is responsible for providing occupational health services to all company employees, which includes but is not limited to performing assessments of patients’ condition, determining appropriate course of treatment, and administering basic life support, if needed. In addition to treatment and management of injuries, the Health Services Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to assist the Health Services Manager with onsite clinic operations. Education, Licensure and Experience Current CNA with Med Aid Certification or MA or LPN license in the state of Nebraska required. Current BLS certification required. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with Worker’s Compensation preferred. Experience with Americans with Disabilities Act Accommodation (ADA) preferred. Skills with multiple Microsoft applications required. Experience with Acute Health Care preferred. Spanish fluency preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure quality health and medical care of all Wholestone Farms Employees. Maintain appropriate documentation of patient care, incident reports, and other necessary reports. Encourage a safe, pleasant work environment for employees. Responsible for first aid, BP checks, conducting pre‑employment drug and urine screens, and completion of additional paperwork required. Review pre‑employment exam documents with the Health Services Manager and schedule functional capacity exams if necessary. Assist the Health Services Manager with Worker’s Compensation management as necessary. Assist with initiating employee ADA requests. Assist with planning and coordination of Hearing and Pulmonary function testing. Ensure all test results are filed accordingly. Schedule physician exams based on test results. Maintain roster of employees certified to wear a respirator. Plan and coordinate onsite vaccination clinics. Ensure all documentation is filed accordingly. Attend meetings in the absence of the Health Services Manager. Communicate clearly in group and individual settings. Run reports and explain information held in reports clearly. Perform proper procedures in a timely and appropriate manner to prevent further harm to the patient using basic life support. Report verbally and in writing observations of patients. Assist with maintaining HIPPA, OSHA, Worker’s Compensation, and medical records compliance. Assist with maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies. Inspect and maintain Automated External Defibrillators for the facility as necessary. Participate as a member of the facility Hazmat Team. Participate as a member of the facility Safety Committee. Partner with Benefits Analyst to encourage Workplace Wellness. Plan and coordinate wellness events such as breast cancer awareness, high blood pressure awareness, importance of diet and exercise, blood drives, etc. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the language of the majority cultural group to communicate effectively. Must be able to hear enough to understand those individuals as well. Must be able to effectively communicate in both individual and group settings. Must be able to present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups. Mathematical Skills In order to perform duties, must be able to: add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure such as whole numbers, fractions, percentages. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense and best judgment in solving problems and interpreting and understanding instructions furnished in written and oral form. Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action yet reason when to involve Manager. Computer Skills Intermediate computer knowledge with the ability to learn software. Other Skills and Abilities Display strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deal with frequent interruptions. Display attention to detail when inputting data into corporate reports. Basic office skills such as phone skills, voice mail, copying, faxing, typing, and directing visitors. Ability to function independently given assigned duties. Ability to communicate, work, and interact with a variety of individuals.
