**Exciting Opportunity for a CT/X-Ray Tech – Join Our Dynamic Team!** **Job Description:** - **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 1500-2330, 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week) - **Role Overview:** - Collaborate with the Radiology Manager and Radiologist - Perform advanced Computerized Tomography procedures, including invasive tasks - Operate a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner, ensuring top-quality imaging - Instruct and position patients with care and professionalism - Ensure accurate labeling and marking of all films - **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide safe and quality care for patients in the radiology department - Take call as needed and be ready for various challenges - Apply precise technical factors for optimal exposure - Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage diagnostic equipment - **Requirements:** - Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology - Registered with ARRT, including ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) - 3 years of diagnostic experience preferred - Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy - Ability to lift, move, and transport patients and equipment safely: - Lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist - Move 40 pounds six feet - Reach overhead holding 25 pounds - Lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level - Pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed - Push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet - Requires good stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and motor skills - Proficient computer skills - **Skills Needed:** - Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities - Strong customer service orientation - Adherence to established hospital policies and procedures **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
