Senior Admissions Officer Employer: Bank Street College of Education, Location: Morningside, NY. Closing date: Jun 13, 2026. Bank Street Graduate School of Education offers a variety of graduate degree programs. The Office of Graduate Admissions seeks an experienced Senior Admissions Officer to recruit, advise, and support prospective students from initial interest to matriculation. Key Responsibilities Program & Territory Ownership: Manage a dedicated applicant caseload and serve as the primary admissions team expert for specific academic programs. Proactive Outreach: Conduct personalized outreach to prospective students and applicants to drive engagement and conversion throughout the application funnel. Advising & Support: Provide detailed information on academic programs, the Bank Street philosophy, admissions requirements, and the application process; connect candidates with the Financial Aid team as appropriate. Application Review: Serve as a core admissions committee member, reading and evaluating applications to determine institutional fit and meet minimum requirements. Recruitment & Events: Plan and represent the institution at on‑campus, online, and off‑campus recruitment events; host information sessions tailored to assigned programs; develop new marketing avenues. Internal Partnership: Work with academic partners and faculty to resolve applicant questions and enhance recruitment collaboration. Post‑Acceptance Work & Advisement: Support admitted and matriculated students through orientation, prerequisite advisement, and other Enrollment Management tasks. Application System Support: Assist with application cycle launches, email management, and system maintenance. Trend Analysis & Reporting: Use system tools to analyze recruitment patterns, pipeline health, and enrollment progress. Represent the Office at institutional events such as conferences, lectures, and commencement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3‑5 years of relevant experience. Valid driver’s license. Customer service experience required; experience in recruitment, admissions, or student services preferred. Experience managing a recruitment territory or applicant caseload preferred. Experience with Slate (Technolutions) preferred. Strong problem‑solving, independent work, ownership mentality, and teamwork skills. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent writing for professional communication, including drafting emails and admissions evaluations. Ability to connect authentically with prospective students and diverse audiences. Position Requirements Availability for recruitment travel throughout the year. Capacity to hold evening information sessions. Typical workdays Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm; flexibility to work 10 am‑6 pm or 11 am‑7 pm one or two days per week.
