Accountant or Auditor for AI Training

Apply accounting, audit, and regulatory expertise to help train AI systems to interpret financial information, reason through accounting processes, and work with real-world financial documentation. No prior AI experience is required, your domain knowledge is central to the work. Key Responsibilities

• Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare and audit financial statements.
• Advise on financial reporting, compliance, and accounting best practices.
• Review financial statements prepared by others for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Install, review, or advise on systems used to record costs and budgetary data.
• Apply expertise in economics, accounting principles, and taxation to create high-quality AI training datasets.
• Share practical insights that improve AI understanding of financial documents and processes.
• Document findings clearly through written and verbal communication.

• Bachelor''s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of economics, accounting, law, government regulations, taxation, and financial statements.
• Substantial experience preparing and auditing financial statements.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and budgetary controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical subject matter.
• Careful, detail-oriented approach to data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Current or previous experience in one or more relevant roles, such as Certified Public Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, or Revenue Tax Specialist.

• Advanced certification such as CPA, CMA, or CIA, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience advising on or implementing financial systems and controls.
• Ability to explain complex accounting concepts to diverse audiences.

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.
• This work supports an AI training initiative focused on financial information.

• $40 to $95 per hour.
