Level 2 Manufacturing Planner (Buy MRP)

Overview This position involves the planning and execution of Buy planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions and the management of manufacturing activities across various functions. The role ensures production system integrity, optimizes inventory, and expedites material flow to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities Perform Buy planning activities linked to MRP transactions. Execute multiple manufacturing activities within diverse manufacturing functions. Maintain production system integrity to drive inventory optimization and minimize cost. Expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinate with Global Supply Chain, Global Sustainment, and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on buy parts. Analyze and control production schedule and capacity requirements; execute the plan and provide timely status updates. Coordinate with Supply Chain Stakeholders, including Procurement and Operations Management, to determine appropriate time‑phased plans for procured parts. Execute processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintain MRP parameters such as lead times and lot sizes; coordinate with Engineering and Change Board Representatives to update BOMs. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Experience with SAP operating software, including transactional acumen and data elements for report/metric development. Experience with Supply Chain Processes. Experience in SAP, MRP, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of manufacturing planning and scheduling principles, lead times, and inventory management. Desired Skills Proficient with analytical and problem‑solving skills. Self‑motivated and quick learner. Proficient with Global Supply Chain (GSC) Processes. Experience with APRISO. Experience with Buy MRP Processes. Location & Schedule Marietta, GA. Onsite full‑time. Work schedule: 4×10 hour days with 3 days off per week.
