Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Wallingford, CT working in an outpatient clinic where you will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and support safe return to community activities. Provide discipline-specific direction, document care accurately, participate in student instruction as assigned, and pursue professional development. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice acts and organizational policies. Demonstrate safety awareness and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
• Active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Experience with comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and insurance documentation preferred.
• Ability to perform clear, timely medical record documentation and charge entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising or mentoring students in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with performance improvement processes and quality initiatives.
• Prior experience working within productivity and documentation standards in outpatient clinics.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
