Job Position: Production Packer

Location: South Texas

Pay Rate: $13.00/hour

Shift: Monday-Saturday, starting at 6am until daily production is complete

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Production Packers to join a busy food manufacturing and packaging operation. This position is responsible for inspecting, packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment while maintaining strict quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks, and able to work efficiently as part of a production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality, cleanliness, damage, and proper appearance
• Package finished products according to company specifications
• Assemble cases, trays, or other packaging materials as needed
• Label, stack, and organize completed products for shipment
• Remove damaged or defective products from the production line
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Follow production and quality standards consistently
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
• Assist with loading, staging, or moving packaged products as needed
• Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors
• Perform additional production and packaging duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous production, packaging, warehouse, food-service, or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to work an extended schedule when production requires

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to repeatedly bend, reach, twist, stoop, and move throughout the work area
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift, carry, and move products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely in a food-production environment
• Ability to maintain productivity throughout the scheduled shift

Work Environment

This position is performed in a food production and packaging facility. The work environment may be fast-paced, with repetitive production tasks and varying temperatures depending on the work area. Employees are expected to follow all company requirements regarding food safety, sanitation, personal protective equipment, and workplace safety.

Schedule & Availability

• Monday-Saturday schedule
• 6:00 AM start time
• End time may vary depending on daily production needs
• One scheduled day off per week
• Weekend availability is required
