Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Department setting with Med/Surg and Telemetry crossover
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients across varying acuity levels
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience in Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Telemetry nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined Med/Surg/Telemetry and Emergency Department environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to fluctuating patient volumes and acuity levels
• Holiday availability preferred
