Diverse Clinical Population – work with short‑term rehabilitation residents, orthopedic recovery, neurological conditions, balance/fall prevention, general geriatric strengthening and mobility, long‑term care maintenance therapy needs. Physical Therapist Overview As a Physical Therapist, you’ll evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence‑based therapy services designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall independence. Your expertise will play an essential role in helping residents recover from illness, injury, or surgery while maximizing their functional abilities and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and treatments in accordance with physician orders. Develop and update individualized care plans and therapy goals. Maintain timely and accurate documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams regarding resident progress and needs. Participate in resident care planning meetings. Assist with education and training initiatives as needed. Support a safe, respectful, resident‑centered care environment. Qualifications Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy required. State license to practice physical therapy required. Two years’ experience in physical therapy preferred. Ability to direct others necessary. This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. To ensure a safe work environment for residents and coworkers, the employee must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or more advanced level.
