Saw / Tile Cutter – Core Processing
Job Duties
- Safely operate wet diamond core saws, tile cutters, and core splitting equipment.
- Cut drill core accurately along marked sample lines as directed by geologists.
- Prepare, label, organize, and package core samples for shipment and storage.
- Load, unload, move, and organize drill core using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling.
- Maintain saws, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Follow sample identification and chain-of-custody procedures.
- Assist with core photography, measurements, data entry, and general facility tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous saw, tile cutting, mining, construction, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a diamond saw and material-handling equipment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection when necessary.
Pay rate $28-$32 per hour DOE
