Exciting Opportunity: Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapy Manager

Job Description:


- Manage a dynamic hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic.

- Provide patient care, including:
- Skilled physical therapy evaluations
- Establishment of comprehensive treatment plans
- Optimize department revenue streams and manage expenses for financial health.
- Balance reporting, audits, and tracking measures with clinic demands.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate, state, and federal guidelines for physical therapy practices.
- Coordinate an orthopedic specialty field clinic, including:
- Screening and prioritizing referrals.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to enhance administrative processes.
- Support our mission to deliver exceptional health services.

Position Qualifications:


- Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
- Minimum Experience:
- Four (4) years of active, full-time patient care experience.
- Previous managerial experience preferred.
- License, Certification, Registration:
- Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist.
- Current BLS certification.

Equipment/Tools:


- Office equipment (computer, telephone, fax machine, copy machine)
- Therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound, and electric stimulation modalities.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:


- Language Skills:
- Ability to comprehend complex instructions and communicate effectively in diverse cultural settings.
- Mathematical Skills:
- Proficient in basic math and ability to interpret data.
- Computer Skills:
- Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for professional correspondence and presentations.
- Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
