# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Telemetry – Kansas

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Patient ratio 1:6 (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)

• 37-bed surgical telemetry unit in a large teaching facility
• Diverse case mix including central lines, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies
• Collaborative team environment with experienced staff including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Unit Clerks
• Modern equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tube management
• EMR: Meditech
• Travel nurse assignment with competitive compensation package

• Current Kansas RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Prior experience in large teaching facilities preferred
• Previous Meditech experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
