The RSR station’s operation will include the RSR+ operation which brings same‑day fulfillment to rural delivery stations. RSR Sr. Station Leaders are responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for an RSR Delivery Station. Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the DS. Key Job Responsibilities Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations Drive vision for the station team and create quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other lean initiatives to enable the functional area and ultimately the Delivery Station to meet and exceed the business plan Problem‑solve for closing gaps between performance and goals Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measure performance, provide feedback and hold them accountable for their performance and that of their departments Manage an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers, subject to ever rising volume and complexity, operating on a 24/7 basis Manage day‑to‑day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) Present operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team Hire and develop top talent; create and implement a talent plan for the site including talent acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement Leverage the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area Cultivate a strong culture and engagement throughout all levels of the delivery station team Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network Work with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 7+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience, or experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes 5+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities Experience managing third‑party resources on a regional/national scale Experience leading large contingent workforce programs Work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast‑paced environment similar to a high‑tech start‑up Experience working with changing priorities and schedules Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field, or 8+ years of senior leadership development and talent management experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
