Permanent Primary Care Physician Assistant

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a physician assistant for a well-established FQHC outpatient clinic network in Sacramento, California. This permanent opportunity supports underserved communities and offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Permanent
• Specialty: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or related primary care specialties
• Setting: Outpatient only
• Start Date: ASAP

Facility Highlights:

• FQHC outpatient clinic setting
• Multiple brick-and-mortar clinic locations plus a Mobile Medicine program
• Patient population: Underserved communities
• EMR: Epic

Schedule & Coverage:

• Schedule Options: Five days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts (4/10 schedule option available)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or approved 4/10 schedule)
• Lunch Break: One hour
• Telehealth: Yes (two telehealth slots per day)
• Weekend Rotation: Yes (Saturday rotation)

Practice Environment:

• Average daily patient volume: Typical FQHC volume
• Age range treated: All ages (role dependent)
• Support staff: Medical Assistants and Care Coordinators
• Work style: Independent practice with team support
• Call responsibilities: Yes Phone-only call approximately 2–3 times per year (one-week coverage depending on provider pool)

Provider Requirements:

• Board Certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience FQHC or community health experience required
• Active California license (or ability to obtain)
• Prior enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid required
