Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Schedule: Straight Nights 7P-7:30A, Every Other Weekend and Holiday, On Call per Unit Needs

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

Requirements:

• Unencumbered state RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience
• High acuity unit experience with mentor/charge experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and making necessary adjustments.
• Document all patient assessments and interventions accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication with patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on managing conditions and preparing for discharge.
