Assists licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients in a skilled nursing facility. Delivers treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall functional ability under supervision. Responsibilities:
- Support licensed therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure proper use of therapy equipment.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or credential.
- Proven experience assisting in a SNF or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of rehabilitative therapies and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and instructions.
- Current compliance with all licensure and certification requirements.
