NJ Personal Injury Lien Specialist/ Paralegal

Petrillo & Goldberg Law is currently seeking an experienced NJ Personal Injury Lien Resolution Paralegal / Claims Specialist to join our team. Role Overview: This position is responsible for handling medical lien and subrogation resolution for personal injury settlements. Key Responsibilities: - Research and resolve Medicare, NJ Medicaid/DMAHS, and private health insurance liens.

Conduct Medicare conditional-payment and Medicaid recovery searches.
Identify ERISA vs. non-ERISA plans and applicable subrogation rights.
Obtain payment ledgers, lien/demand figures, and final resolutions.
Compare claimed payments with injury-related treatment.
Maintain lien-resolution spreadsheets for each settlement.
Communicate with Medicare, Medicaid, insurers, TPAs, and benefit plans.
Assist attorneys with lien reduction negotiations.
Obtain written final lien resolutions and releases prior to settlement disbursement.

Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with New Jersey personal injury settlements and medical lien/subrogation resolution is required. - Strong background with Medicare, NJ Medicaid, and ERISA plans is strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Petrillo & Goldberg Law
