Data Scientist – Marketing Analytics

Location: Fully Remote
Duration: Contract through the end of 2026, with potential for extension
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support the Marketing organization with advanced analytics, customer acquisition, retention modeling, and AI-driven insights. This role is ideal for someone who can translate complex data into actionable business recommendations and has hands-on experience building and evaluating AI/ML models.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Life-to-Date (LTD) analytics to understand where customers/members originate and how they move through the application and customer journey.
• Analyze application behavior, including time to complete applications, conversion rates, and points where customers may drop out of the process .
• Develop and optimize customer acquisition and retention models to improve marketing performance and customer lifetime value.
• Analyze cost of acquisition (CAC) and evaluate the effectiveness and benefits of paid media and other marketing channels.
• Partner closely with the Marketing Department to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Build, test, evaluate, and improve AI/ML models that support business and marketing objectives.
• Use data science techniques to evaluate customer behavior, predict retention/churn, and improve acquisition strategies.
• Work with large datasets and develop meaningful analytics and reporting for business stakeholders.
• Clearly communicate analytical findings, model results, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in Data Science, Data Analytics, and predictive modeling .
• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, and machine learning.
• Strong experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data environments.
• Proven experience building and evaluating AI/ML models .
• Must be able to clearly explain how AI has been used in previous projects , including model development, evaluation, and measuring effectiveness.
• Strong experience with customer acquisition and retention analytics/modeling .
• Experience with LTD (Life-to-Date) analytics and customer journey analysis.
• Understanding of customer acquisition costs, paid media performance, and marketing analytics .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and partner effectively with Marketing and business stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Data Scientist who combines strong Python, Snowflake, AI/ML, and advanced analytics skills with real-world marketing experience. They should be comfortable digging into customer data, identifying why customers convert or drop out, developing acquisition and retention models, and turning those findings into strategies that improve marketing ROI.
