Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist - 1st Shift at our Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. The pay rate for this position is 23.80 per hour. Core hours are 7:00am-3:30pm.

What You'll Do:

Position Overview: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for support management as needed to accomplish Eaton's overall objectives of providing on-time delivery of quality products. Support and initiate actions with management to ensure that personnel comply to the company's policies and performance/productivity levels.

In this function you will:

• Be responsible for root cause analysis on troubled inventory
• Ability to find lost inventory items
• Ability to understand inputs and outputs of inventory systems
• Ability to perform cycle counting as needed
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
• Ability to coordinate with team lead, inventory workers, and material handlers to solve various issues.
• Ability to effective use ERP systems and basic Microsoft applications (excel)
• Ability to work cross functional across plants
• Ability to operate forklift and electrical pallet jack as needed.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Richmond, VA location. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Prior experience with Microsoft applications
