Inbound Logistics Project Manager

Outline of the Role: The inbound logistics team is a small but mighty team working on technology and operational expansion. In 2024, there are multiple high priority projects the business is looking to enhance their current operations. The scope of work includes the initial RFP/procurement phase duties with vendor selection, through discovery, implementation, testing, go live and hypercare. The successful candidate will, with minimal direction, provide project manager duties such as managing timelines, risks, issues and supporting in the resolution of them. They will also support with business process mapping and working with external vendors providing platform services, to ensure that the operations teams needs are being met. In this role, it is critical to have a background in supplychain, preferably with experience managing multiple vendor bids, LSPs and inbound shipment operations. You demonstrate leadership by supporting the growth and development of your team as a whole and individually. Goal setting is as integral to us as yoga, and you facilitate your team’s participation in our Vision & Goals program. This is not about your performance. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Works closely with technology PM, external vendor PM’s to track delivery of multiple projects. Critical thinker to determine processes, schedules and timelines for project inception to golive. Document business problem statements and seek solutions for them that are aligned with cross-functional teams. Able to wear multiple hats with project delivery, prioritize work with multiple tracks of work. Able to work with technology and product partners with supporting business requirements. Tracks RAID log items and has great follow through on items. Able to communicate to multiple levels of the organization, comfortable with day to day project communications and senior leadership reviews? documentation of process maps (to-be), system and data flow? Champions best practices around data standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements: Experience of working / implementing Freight sourcing, Freight Audit and pay. Able to provide detailed level business process flows and document as-is processes. Work with cross-functional teams to provide net new requirements based on business processes. Knowledge in supply chain systems and logistics concepts required. Knowledge of ERP and related systems is preferred. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Has a good understanding of software development practices and project life cycles. 3+ years as Systems or Business Analyst; 5+ years in IT; Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
