We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as an Assistant Unit Manager at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catskill, New York. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and residents, providing high-quality care and attention to their unique needs. As an Assistant Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our LPN team, implementing evidence-based care practices, and collaborating with other departments to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
About the LPN Assistant Unit Manager Role:
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with other nursing staff, physicians, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to the next level of care.
Lead an LPN team, providing guidance, support, and feedback to optimize patient outcomes.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care, patient satisfaction, and safety.
LPN Assistant Unit Manager Requirements:
Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of New York.
Prior experience, preferably in a nursing home, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
