Job Overview As a Sales Associate at Carter’s, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet new parents, grandparents, and others, introduce them to our baby essentials, and help them prepare for life’s milestones. You will work in a welcoming, inclusive environment that values teamwork, flexibility, and growth. Responsibilities Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits. Confidently and proactively resolve customer issues while managing multiple customers in a busy retail environment. Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience. Execute and expedite point‑of‑sale and register transactions. Perform floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed. Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers. Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store. Qualifications Positive, solutions‑oriented mindset. Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills. Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Physical ability to lift 40 pounds, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as required. Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods; ability to climb a ladder. Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
