Job Title Physician, Gastroenterology – Advanced Interventional (Berkeley, CA) Description Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) seeks a board‑certified Gastroenterologist to join a well‑established GI team in Berkeley, CA. The position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, collaborative treatment with general surgery, primary care, and hospitalists, and the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing, dynamic multi‑specialty medical group. Responsibilities Provide inpatient service at an 80‑bed acute‑care hospital, sharing coverage evenly among three gastroenterology partners. Perform outpatient clinic visits, with responsibilities adjusted during inpatient service weeks to maintain manageable workload. Collaborate with surgical, primary care, and hospitalist teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Participate in a growing, multi‑specialty environment that values innovation and quality of care. Qualifications Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Completed fellowship training in Gastroenterology. Training or expertise in Motility, IBD, and Advanced Endoscopy is preferred but not required. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
