As a member of MITRE’s Center for Transforming Health, the candidate would provide analysis and strategic support regarding the development and use of clinical quality measures to the Department of Health and Human Services, and other Federal Civilian Agencies as needed. This position requires knowledge of existing clinical quality measures, and understanding of how measures are developed, and familiarity with clinical quality measure specifications. Position requires ability to write descriptions of measures, including their uses and limitations, suitable for a non-technical audience. 

This position will require ~10% travel to the Woodlawn, MD facility to meet with customer.

Key Functions:
• This position will require knowledge of existing clinical quality measures, and understanding of how measures are developed, and familiarity with clinical quality measure specifications
• Position requires ability to interpret quality data for evaluation of programmatic results, and to write descriptions of measures and their uses, suitable for a non-technical audience
• Candidates should be able to interface with high-ranking members of federal healthcare agencies, think creatively and be prepared to contribute to innovative CQM programs and guide approaches to solutions based on a clinical understanding of the issues

Location:
Bedford, MA - Woodlawn, MD -  McLean, VA

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field
• Nursing or healthcare quality measure credentials strongly preferred
• 7 years related experience with healthcare quality measures, standards experience a plus

Minimum Education:
BS and 8 years related experience.
