About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Communications Enterprise to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy that positions the organization as a leader in AI-driven transformation within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for enterprise messaging, executive visibility, internal communications, media relations, and issues management in a highly regulated and high-stakes environment. This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach, with a focus on translating complex AI capabilities into clear and compelling narratives for various stakeholders, including insurers, regulators, partners, and employees. The VP will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing communications team and must have a deep understanding of the insurance ecosystem or adjacent industries. Applicants for the VP of Communications Enterprise role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of communications leadership experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, AI/tech, or other regulated industries. The role demands an individual with the ability to develop a unified narrative around AI in insurance, balancing innovation with trust, compliance, and responsible AI. Strong media relationships, experience in crisis communications, and exceptional writing and storytelling skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling communications teams in high-growth environments and be comfortable in fast-paced, innovation-driven cultures. Responsibilities also include advising the executive team, leading thought leadership initiatives, and preparing leaders for various external engagements.
