Program Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Program Manager for one of their top customers in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. This Program Managers primary responsibility is to ensure programs meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives while driving the development of mechanical and pyrotechnic components and systems that consistently surpass customer expectations. Serves as the primary lead for customer engagement, facilitating conference calls, meetings, and formal reviews. Oversees project planning activities, including cost estimation, schedule development, and resource allocation. Contributes to business growth efforts through proposal development and participation in new business engagements.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Directing the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and presentations
- Developing project plans outlining cost, timelines, and required resources
- Supporting business development initiatives through proposal writing and participation in customer meetings
- Leading cross-functional engineering teams in the design and development of mechanical and pyrotechnic components and systems that exceed customer requirements
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, managing communication through meetings, conference calls, and design reviews
- Overseeing engineering design, analysis, and testing efforts to ensure robust and reliable system performance

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience engineering in an aerospace field (systems, mechanical, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, and execute projects from start to finish
- Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations and quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO9001)
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Masters Degree or MBA
- 2+ years experience managing teams or projects
- Experience working with customers, working in a manufacturing environment (25% travel)
- Active clearance
