Manufacturing Assembler

Job Description

The Manufacturing Assembler produces medical device products in a clean room environment by following documented manufacturing instructions and cGMP requirements, ensuring high quality and compliance. This role requires precision tool use, adherence to safety protocols, and support of production efficiency through cross-training, documentation, inventory management, and participation in quality audits.

Responsibilities

Assemble medical device products following Manufacturing Process Instructions and complete Lot History Records per cGMP
Operate in a clean room environment using proper gowning and material handling procedures
Use microscopes for extended periods to assemble products accurately
Perform manufacturing tasks with hand tools such as tweezers, scalpels, torque drivers, and calipers
Operate manufacturing equipment including laser welding, soldering, heat box, coating, and packaging machines
Support training of new team members and temporary personnel in manufacturing procedures
Record cleanroom environment maintenance data and assist with inventory lookups in the ERP system
Work across multiple workstations to maintain efficient production flow
Participate in Quality Audit Teams and perform other duties as assigned
Regularly lift and carry up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds

Required Qualifications

High school education or technical training equivalent
2-4 years of manufacturing or related practical experience
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Ability to foresee and mitigate risks and escalate issues with recommended corrective actions
Compliance with relevant county, state, and federal vaccination regulations
Full-time availability and willingness to work at Pleasanton, CA location

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of manufacturing experience
Microscope operation skills
Experience with ERP systems
Familiarity with torque drivers
Strong attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent
