Host/Hostess Position
We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. The Host/Hostess will welcome guests, manage reservations, escort customers to their tables, and ensure a pleasant dining experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding reservations.
- Manage the reservation book and coordinate seating arrangements.
- Escort customers to their assigned tables.
- Provide menus and notify wait staff of table assignments.
- Monitor table turnover and communicate any delays to customers.
- Assist in setting up the dining area and maintain cleanliness.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
