Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 36 Hours/Week | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties, with a primary focus on vascular surgery (open and endovascular cases) and plastics surgery
• Participate in on-call obligations as required, including overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and specialty team call rotations
• Fulfill weekend call responsibilities on a rotating basis, averaging 1:4 to 1:5 weekends
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robotic systems
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maine)
• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Vascular surgery experience required (open and endovascular cases)
• Plastics surgery experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience
• Ability to meet call obligations including overnight and weekend rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience in General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic (trauma and joints), Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Dental, or Endovascular procedures
• Flexible, accountable, punctual, and team-oriented work style
