Job Description
Psychiatric Nurse

Position Overview

This is a day shift position working from 7 AM to 7 PM in an adult psychiatric environment. The role focuses on providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Provide therapeutic support and intervention for patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatments.
Qualifications
  • Current nursing license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care to individuals with mental health issues.
