Bartender

General Purpose of the Job: The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons, oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and collect money for drinks served. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of The Evelyn Team Member include, but are not limited to: - Greet all guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant bar with an upbeat, friendly manner - Demonstrate a fun and welcoming attitude and effectively work as a team to ensure the highest level of service for all guests. - Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff. - Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered. - Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar. - Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized. - Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles. - Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs, required by TABC regulations. - Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served. - Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive. - Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies - Informs management of guests concerns at all times. - Must review and abide by all company policies and procedures as outlined. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Flexible schedule with weekend, holidays, and evening availability. - Teamwork oriented, fun, energetic, friendly, and passionate. - Must attend and successfully complete orientation, and Team Member training program prior to working a shift. - Must successfully attend, complete and maintain all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications.
