Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 13 Weeks | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with up to 42 beds
• Manage patient assignments at ratios of up to 1:6 or 1:7
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a large, high-acuity healthcare facility
• Complete required pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license required at time of submission (pending AL license will be considered)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Previous experience working in large healthcare facilities
• Permanent address must be located at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience required (highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma center or similarly sized acute care environment
• Familiarity with high-volume telemetry monitoring and documentation
