We are hiring for a Senior Mechanical QA/QC Agent in Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Arizona. As part of our Mission Critical team, you will help empower our clients to achieve energy‑efficient building solutions, save the global environment, and create a better, greener future for all. Why We Need You In this role you will resolve quality‑control challenges and complete assigned tasks, developing and implementing quality‑control process delivery plans based on project requirements, basis of design, construction documents, and data gathered from users, partners, field surveys, specifications, shop drawings, and code research. You will also mentor and foster development of less‑experienced team members and respond to questions across multiple site locations. The expertise of our most successful Senior Mechanical QA/QC Agent includes: Technical or associate degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, engineering, or construction management from an accredited institution or commensurate design or field experience. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in mechanical service or mechanical equipment testing. Minimum of five (5) years in mission‑critical projects and a minimum of two (2) years in the hyperscale space. Functional knowledge of building systems across disciplines, including HVAC, fire protection, technology, instrumentation and controls, and processes. Expertise in state‑of‑the‑art critical systems, including building monitoring systems, chillers, cooling towers, computer‑room air handlers, RTUs, pumps, and fans. Fundamental knowledge of commissioning processes and delivery of applicable equipment. Fundamental knowledge of construction processes and project delivery models. Extensive knowledge and understanding of electrical codes, standards, specifications, and shop drawings with the ability to interpret them. Proficiency in applicable technologies, including computer/software, data loggers, and test and measurement equipment. Valid driver’s license and state‑required vehicle insurance. Effective working individually and within team environments. Procore, CxAlloy, or BIM360 experience is a plus. Typical Responsibilities Perform periodic site walks to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices, assisting general contractors and their site superintendents with inspections as required. Deliver daily reports detailing completed tasks or inspections and provide information regarding issues supported by codes or standards. Collaborate in a team environment, mentoring, delegating work, and giving and receiving constructive feedback. On‑site expectation 100% if placed within the region; when required on a site out of the region, 75% travel would be expected, varying based on the site's expectations.
