The college invests in its people through ongoing professional development opportunities, collaborative leadership, and a supportive work environment.POSITION: Part-Time Nursing Clinical Instructors (Clinical Instructor): Nursing Department, Division of Health Professions; Lawrence Campus (414 Common Street); up to 16 hours per week; MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position.SUMMARY: We are accepting applications for our Nursing Clinical Instructor pool to supervise clinical experience for up to 6 students for 8-16 hours per week on an as needed basis for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond. Their duties include, but may not be limited to, providing clinical instruction that coordinates with theoretical content and achieves course objectives. Clinical Instructor will engage in a critical role in the teaching and learning process as a member of the nursing team, contributing to student success. Please note: Positions will be available pending sufficient enrollment.REPORTS TO: Associate Dean of NursingSCHEDULE: Clinical Opportunities 1-2 days or evenings per week; Monday through FridayRESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare clinical assignments prior to clinical learning experienceInstruct and Supervise nursing students in the clinical settingInstruct and Supervise nursing students with virtual clinical simulation to support the achievement of student learner outcomes when clinical agency is unavailableEvaluate student learning assignments and provide constructive feedbackComplete formative and summative student evaluationsCommunicate with Course Team Leader on a weekly basis regarding student issuesPerform other duties associated with the positionREQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:ADN nursing instruction level: Master's Degree in NursingMA Registered Nurse license in good standingPractical nursing instruction level: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution of higher learningPossess a minimum of two (2) years full-time experience in nursing, or its equivalent, within the last five (5) yearsEvidence of competence in clinical area of Maternal-child, Medical Surgical Nursing, or Psychiatric NursingBasic Life Support Health Provider Level certification from American Heart AssociationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in Nursing or enrolled in an MSN program or have passed Certified Nurse Educator certification exam with 5 years of full-time experiencePrevious clinical teaching experienceExperience with the use of patient simulation and technologyMA and NH Registered Nurse license in good standing for NH clinical placementsBilingual (Spanish/English)Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse populationSALARY: $74.10/hour, Non-benefited positionANTICIPATED START DATE : As needed, based on departmental requirements and candidate availability.TO APPLY: To be considered for this position click on the "Apply Now" button, you will be prompted to set up a new account or login to an existing account.
