Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

The Rory S. Clark Team, a top-producing team at Brown Harris Stevens, is seeking a licensed real estate agent ready to hit the ground running with built-in sales opportunities in the fast-paced NYC residential real estate market. Our track record includes 2 past Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Rookie of the Year Nominees; will you be the next winner? Candidates with or without past real estate experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will be a natural people person with a professional manner and tireless work ethic committed to zealously representing real estate clients and pursuing new sales opportunities. The role requires extensive weekend hours showing properties, meeting clients and flexibility to show residential real estate properties throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Candidate must be highly motivated, positive attitude, tech‑savvy, problem‑solver and team player committed to long‑term success. New agent will have direct access to team leader for career mentorship and robust team systems in place to succeed in a fun and collegial environment. Candidate must be a licensed real estate agent and will be a 1099 independent contractor with Brown Harris Stevens. Compensation will be based on commission with tremendous upside. Duties Assist clients in buying, selling, and leasing residential or commercial properties by providing expert advice and support throughout the transaction process Negotiate offers, counteroffers, and contract terms to secure favorable outcomes for clients Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote property listings across multiple channels Conduct property showings, open houses, and market analyses to attract potential buyers or tenants Ensure all transactions comply with Fair Housing regulations and local real estate laws Maintain organized records of client interactions, property details, and transaction documentation Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, inspectors, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth closings Qualifications Valid real estate license in good standing with the appropriate licensing authority Proven experience in real estate sales or property management is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated newcomers Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Knowledge of marketing techniques and digital platforms to maximize property exposure Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and real estate law to ensure ethical practices Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing administrative tasks and client information Customer service orientation with a passion for helping people find their ideal property #J-18808-Ljbffr Brown Harris Stevens
