City/State Suffolk, VA | Position Location: Norfolk, VA | Work Shift First (Days) | Position Status: Full-time The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred) Certification/Licensure BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
