The primary objective of this role is to assist the team with 100% manual invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for all assigned accounts. This position provides critical support to the buyer/account representative activities, including customer service, invoice preparation, and delivery support for steel-related raw materials supporting new model trial events globally. The role requires strong critical thinking, math proficiency, and the ability to quickly adapt to multiple systems to research and resolve exceptions in the invoicing process.

Invoicing & Sales Support Specialist Details:

• Contract position
• $ 23.75 / hour
• First Shift

40% - Inside sales - Maintain direct contact with customers, mills and processing centers regarding expedite activity (external facing).

30% - Support Buyer activities with order entry, export documentation, delivery tracking, price entry, product record creation and variance adjustments.

15% - Invoice customers - Create monthly sales and purchase orders to allow for accurate and timely invoices; provide explanation for profit margins that are either too high or too low; provide clear and logical backup detail with customer invoices so invoices can be paid in a timely manner.

5% - Process Material Claims - Ensure timely completion and processing of customer claims and mill rejections, ensure timely inspection of material rejections by mill tech reps either by written or verbal correspondence.

5% - Enhance efficiency of daily operating procedures - Analyze daily work activities to determine if greater efficiencies can be achieved.

5% - Maintain filing system - Keep invoices filed and archived according to department procedures

Invoicing & Sales Support Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Customer Service experience
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Basic Knowledge of Cost Accounting
• Basic understanding of manufacturing demands/environment
• Attention to detail
• Independent worker
• Critical thinking
• Strong math skills
