Traveling Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Full-Time

Company: Cool Smiles Orthodontics Location: Inland Area, CA Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour

We're looking for an experienced Traveling Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards.
• Take digital X-rays, impressions, scans, and clinical photographs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of braces and orthodontic appliances.
• Accurately document patient treatment and progress.
• Travel between multiple office locations throughout the Inland area to support clinical operations.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience while working collaboratively with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
• 1-3 years of orthodontic assisting experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
• Experience with self-ligating brackets and clear aligners is a plus.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the workday.
• Ability to assist chairside during clinical procedures.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
