Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab

Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus! (Full‑time or part‑time positions only; PRN positions not eligible.) The Inpatient Rehabilitation department at St. Catherine Hospital is a ten‑bed acute inpatient physical rehabilitation unit caring for post‑stroke and severely debilitated patients, rehabilitating them to safely return home. Our mission is to rehabilitate patients to their best quality of life while fostering a collaborative, faith‑based, mission‑driven culture. Responsibilities Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promote optimal health, well‑being, and safety of the patient through nursing process in accordance with standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values. Job Requirements Education Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required); Nursing Diploma or endorsement (required). Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs). Experience Requirements: One year RN experience. Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to the specialty. Licenses/Certification Requirements: Valid RN license required (current state nursing license or National Licensure Compact). Physical Requirements: Medium work – may require exertion up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, or up to 10 lbs constantly.
