Travel Nursing Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110–$2,220 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU/CCU) Registered Nurse Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date: November 9, 2026 End Date: February 6, 2027 Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour night shifts, approximately 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:2 Float Expectations: May float to like units or nearby locations within the assigned skill set; floating may be scheduled in advance ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements Current, unrestricted Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 2 years of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Associate degree or nursing certificate Prior critical access hospital or rural healthcare experience is highly preferred Epic electronic medical record experience is preferred but not required Ability to work night shifts and participate in every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotations Willingness to float to comparable units and respond to changing patient-care needs ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and initiate appropriate interventions Safely administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic electronic medical record Provide care for occasional pediatric surgical patients, including ENT or orthopedic cases, as appropriate Float to comparable units or nearby locations within the nurse’s competency when needed Participate in on-call or callback coverage when assigned, including potential low-census call-off situations Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and high-quality care throughout each shift Apply now for this ICU Registered Nurse travel contract in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and advance your critical care nursing career in a welcoming rural healthcare community.
