Mechanical HVAC Engineer (Data Center 2/3/4)

Job Overview Mechanical HVAC Engineer – Data Center Market Responsibilities Layout and design of HVAC systems for electric vehicles, data centers, and heavy industrial facilities. Develop design criteria for HVAC systems, including comfort and specialized applications such as clean rooms. Create conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Layout ductwork systems based on P&ID information. Produce final design documents, including specifications, sequences of operation, piping layout, and construction drawings for systems such as chilled water and cooling water. Coordinate with other disciplines throughout the design process. Qualifications Three or more years of HVAC system design experience. Thorough knowledge of HVAC design codes and standards. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Desired Qualifications Professional Engineering License. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience designing plumbing/utility systems. Compensation Base salary range: $85,000.00 to $116,800.00, adjusted by location and additional factors.
