Outpatient Mental Health & Neurodevelopmental Clinician

Position Summary We are a growing nonprofit practice focused on accessible, high-quality outpatient care. The Outpatient Mental Health & Neurodevelopmental Clinician provides therapy and assessment for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental needs. This role emphasizes practical, person-centered care that supports wellness, daily functioning, and long-term growth. The clinician works closely with clients, families, and a small interdisciplinary team to provide consistent, coordinated care in an outpatient setting. Salary $80,000 to $85,000 DOE. Key Responsibilities Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches. Work with a range of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, and other developmental differences. Support clients in building skills for emotional regulation, relationships, and daily functioning. Track progress, update treatment plans, and complete documentation in a timely manner. Collaborate with other providers both internal and external to organization (medical, school, and community support). Provide education and practical tools to clients and families. Use trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. Participate in team meetings and contribute to supportive, growing practice. Follow all Minnesota licensing rules, ethical standards, and documentation requirements. Meet company requirements regarding billing for services. Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Current Minnesota licensure (e.g., LPCC, LPC, LICSW, LMFT, or LP). Experience providing outpatient therapy to diverse populations. Knowledge of both mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. Comfortable and progressive use of electronic health records (EHR). Preferred Qualifications Experience working across age groups (children, teens, and adults). Experience with autism, ADHD, or co‑occurring conditions. Training in CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, or similar approaches. Interest in helping shape and grow a small nonprofit practice. Bilingual or multilingual skills. Work Environment Outpatient setting with some flexibility (in-person and/or telehealth). Flexible scheduling based on client needs. Small team environment with opportunities for input and growth. Through a comprehensive, transdisciplinary model, we provide diagnostic assessments, compassionate ABA therapy, mental health services, speech and occupational therapy, and family training. MAC's services are center-based and in-home, and include speech and occupational therapy, assessment and diagnosis services, and individual and family therapy.
