Clinical Operations Specialist / Traveling Wellness DirectorThe Traveling Wellness Director / Operations Specialist is responsible to provide support, guidance, direction, and oversight from a wellness perspective at communities to sustain continuity of standards until a replacement can be identified. This position will also perform audits and monitor systems to ensure standards are being met.The position requires an LPN/RN license and an 80% travel requirement throughout Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a degree in healthcare or related field and a minimum of three years of management experience. Experience in Senior Living/Independent Living and demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment, with a capacity to master company specific software are also required.Accountabilities include acting as the community Wellness Leader during a vacancy, overseeing and supporting care team members, conducting resident assessments/service plans, overseeing and monitoring resident care to ensure quality standards are maintained, reviewing and processing physician orders utilizing eMAR in conjunction with pharmacy support, verifying resident ADL schedules are developed and executed when there is a vacancy, collaborating with Human Resources when addressing employee performance concerns, coordinating and communicating with home office team to ensure smooth transition of outgoing and incoming community team members, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and effective communication with members of the team, conducting monthly audits to ensure compliance with company policies and programs, regulatory agencies and standards, supporting wellness leaders with ongoing training, and performing any other duties as requested within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.Skills for success include deep devotion, striving for excellence, high integrity and high trust, motivating others, decisiveness, and collaboration.General working conditions entail standing for long periods of time, communicating effectively with others, sitting, standing, walking, and using hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
