JOB SUMMARY: To carry out the philosophy of the athletic program and the athletic commitment of Ladue School District.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist the head coach with conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques. Assist with helping participating students/athletes in achieving a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills for student athletes, parents and the community. Adhere to all MSHSAA guidelines in and out of season.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Experience in teaching, coaching, and/or sports medicine required. Missouri Teacher Certification preferred. Eligibility for Missouri Substitute Certification required. Additionally, all coaches will be required to have or to obtain Sports First Aid certification and MSHSAA coaching certification. Successful completion of SafeSchools. An FBI Fingerprint/Background Check will be required of all non-district employees who are hired for coaching positions. COMPENSATION: Stipend amount ranges from $4,708 - $5,887. Actual amount will be based on verified prior similar coaching experience.
